Katie
currently lives in St.
Catharines,
Ontario, in the heart of the
Niagara
wine region, working as an administrative
assistant. In her spare time, she enjoys
maintaining a healthy lifestyle, spending
time at her family cottage in Muskoka, and
playing the piano, as she is classically
trained under the Royal Conservatory of
Music in
Canada.
Although Katie’s greatest influences from
the
Czech Republic,
her grandmothers, have both passed away, she
is excited to compete in this pageant and
carry on her family’s legacy.
“Being Miss
Czech Slovak Canada 2010 will give me the
opportunity to become a role model for other
young Czech/Canadian women who are eager to
learn about their heritage and be a part of
their community,” says Katie.
